It’s May so it’s a fantasy only kind of month and I totally dig it. I came into the month with three fantasy books on the go and somehow started two others already and dnf’d one.
Currently Reading
The Black Hawks by David Wragg. I started this on the weekend, so by the time I post this I should almost be done.
Recently Finished
Drake by Peter McLean was a quick read. I wanted to try some of McLean’s urban fantasy and it wasn’t bad. Not sure if I will continue the series though.
I have officially dnf’d The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady hendrix. There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t for me.
Next Read
I have to get back to these two. One is a library book and the other is just so chonky it is taking up to much room on my bedside table.
I would like a round of applause please as these are all books off my May tbr. Yes we are less than a week in, but I usually make a tbr, throw it on the window and completely switch genres, so the fact I am holding to it is a miracle.
