Here we are, the kids go back to school this week, work has quietened down after the Christmas craziness and I have to do adult things like get my car serviced and all the after school activities are back on. I love having my kids home but little Sir spent more time playing Fortnite than he should have and as much as the family did lots of awesome things, I didn’t get to participate in all of it. I did get to see Dolittle today which I thought was brilliant. I laughed louder and more than anyone else in the cinema.
My reading plans
I have three chunky fantasy books that I want to read, I’m already part way through one. Two are NetGalley reads, so it would be nice to get to those so I can keep on top of them. Plus a middle grade that was released last month which I really need to finish. (Yes some of these are roll overs from last month, I got distracted).
I have a couple of novellas that I would like to read.
A graphic novel that has been sitting in my shelves for ages and I don’t know why I haven’t gotten to it yet.
And finally I got an arc that is going to zoom its way to the front of my must read pile.
So this is obviously an outrageous wishlist, because I don’t read that fast and I’m a mood reader, but I’m trying to get on top of my NetGalley reads and also get through my physical backlist books, so I’m hoping that having a list of possibilities to keep me on track will help me. I’m aiming for at least five.
Are you a mood reader? Do you read books in a certain order?
What are your planning on reading this month?
