2. Ben Galley – Wonderful world building and fantastic character development. My Review – The Heart Of Stone by Ben Galley
3. Suzanne Rogerson – Fantastic fresh magic, with writing that brings the beauty of the world to life. My Review – The Lost Sentinel by Suzanne Rogerson
4. D.P. Woolliscroft – He is a must read for fantasy lovers. Review up soon.
5. M.L. Wang – Don’t sleep on this author, you will be missing out on brilliant world building and bloody awesome magic. Currently Reading.
6. Michael McClung – Fun stories that are brutal and bloody. Should have a review up next month.
7. Timandra Whitecastle – Blew my bloody mind. Review will be up next month.
8. Michael C. Sahd – Currently reading my first book by him and enjoying it, I’m looking forward to seeing where the story will go.
There are many more authors obviously and I have quite a few on my kindle waiting for me, I just didn’t want to put on that I haven’t read.

The SPFBO has opened up my eyes to the amazing amount of self published fantasy out there. It’s fantastic. I think all of these are fantasy as well, some are just darker than others.

Great list! I barely reach for self-published authors and I really should, I’m sure I’m missing out on some amazing books. Thanks for bringing these authors to my attention!

I read a pretty good combination of self published vs. traditionally published authors! I could do with reading more indie/self-published though, so I’m definitely taking notes on some of your picks!! Thanks for sharing.
