Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme where we get to feed that part of our soul that loves lists, by coming up with 10 things related to a certain topic. Top Ten Tuesday was originally created by The Broke and Bookish) and is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and future topics can be found HERE. This weeks topic is:
Books on my Summer Winter TBR
1. Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff
2. Blood Awakens by Jessaca Willis
3. The Absinthe Earl by Sharon Lynn Fisher
4. Bloodrush by Ben Galley
5. Aching God by Mike Shel
6. Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike
7. Monstress Volume 2 by Marjorie M. Lui
8. Moon Bound by Leisl Leighton
9. The Sentinel’s Alliance by Suzanne Rogerson
10. Touch Of Iron by Timandra Whitecastle
I’ve recently packed my books up, so I can work on redoing the room and while I’ve left a few out, I want to use this time to get through a couple of NetGalley books, review requests and get into the self published fantasy I have been collecting on my kindle. With the SPFBO5 list officially being released, I know I’m going to come across a lot of tempting books, so I need to clear some space for them. I will put whatever I’m reading down on the day Darkdawn is released though, because Mia and I have a date. I wonder if I should call in sick that day?
So this winter I’m aiming to get through the backlog, what are you planning on reading?
Definitely call in a sick day when Darkdawn is released. You gotta give Mia some uninterrupted time ❤

I have monstress on my Goodreads tbr, the art just looks incredible! I went in the same direction with my TTT list, mostly books I’ve owned for a while and tried to read before but wasn’t in the mood for. Good luck on the tbr and happy reading! 🙂

I just got approved for The Absinthe Earl. Very curious about it. And volume 1 of Monstress was great so I can’t wait to see what volume 2 packs whenever I get the chance to buy it.

I finished The Absinthe Earl last night and I must say I really enjoyed it, I thought the way it was written was superb. I hope you enjoy it. I always forget that I enjoy historical fiction. One of my very lovely friends gave me Monstress volumes 2 & 3 for my birthday, so i’m super lucky otherwise I wouldn’t have a chance to get them anytime soon.

I’m super intrigued by the title and cover of The Absinthe Earl. It looks like a fun one! And I just can’t get enough of the UK/Aus cover for Darkdawn. ❤ Hope you can get to all of these!

I’ve already smashed through The Absinthe Earl, I really liked it. It reminded me how much I enjoy Historical fantasy. And it’s set in Ireland so it has awesome mythological creatures in it. I loved that it has a really spunky, intelligent female lead. My review will be up closer to release date. (I think it’s still available on NetGalley, if you wanted to try it.)

Okay that sounds really good. I just took a peak and it is still available! And it’s not releasing until October so I’ll actually have time to read it. Thank you! 😀
